Leadership Development Program
The Leadership Development Program (LDP) is a course taught by student executives in Flyer Enterprises. The program is designed to further the education of young students and foster discussion in various business functions and leadership theories, with an emphasis on the application of lessons in Flyer Enterprises. Students in the class read several scholarly publications, participate in class discussions and activities, write reflection papers on lessons learned, and participate in two group projects focused around real case studies developed by Flyer Enterprises. Students taking the course can opt to receive 1 hour of academic credit through the University of Dayton School of Business Administration in place of BAI 151.
Leadership Development Program 2
The Leadership Development Program 2 (LDP2) is an extension of LDP that brings in guest speakers, both University officials and regional business professionals, to discuss contemporary business topics. Issues discussed include performance measurement, emotional intelligence, use of financial metrics in decision making, and corporate strategy. Again the course uses Flyer Enterprises as an example that students can relate material back to.
