Chief Executive Officer: Jeffrey Firestone Masters of Business Administration May 2012 Bay Village, Ohio
Jeff joined the Flyer Enterprises’ team during his freshman year at The Blend. Jeff became a product buyer as a sophomore, where he worked with a local area coffee bean roaster to develop “Rudy’s Roast,” an organic fair-trade coffee that donates a percentage of sales to a scholarship fund for University of Dayton students. He was then promoted to General Manager in March 2009 and was again promoted to the President of Coffee Divisions a year later. He was charged with overseeing all marketing, operations, customer service and accounting activities. He also directed the strategic outlook for The Blend and The Blend Express, while overseeing more than 35 employees and 6 managers in the process. As CEO, Jeff is responsible for Flyer Enterprises’ long-term strategic planning, supervising all divisional activities, searching for growth opportunities, and coordinating communication throughout the company, while remaining responsible for over 180 student employees.

Chief Financial Officer: Peter West Majors: Entrepreneurship & Finance Senior: May 2012 Batavia, IL
Peter applied to ArtStreet Cafe during the second semester of his senior year in high school. He started off as a Sales Associate at the Cafe and then became a Shift Leader He was later selected to be a New Venture Coordinator. Peter learned how to create a vision and be a successful problem solver, which set him up for the Chief Financial Officer of Flyer Enterprises. His main responsibilities as CFO include overseeing all accounting activity, managing divisional financial managers, enhancing process management, and assisting the Chief Executive Officer in the company’s immediate and long-term financial strategy.

Chief Information Officer: Steven Group Major: Operations Management, Minor: Leadership Senior: May 2012 Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Steven joined the Flyer Enterprises team his second semester freshman year as a barista at The Blend Express. He was promoted to merchandise buyer as a sophomore, and overtook responsibilities as general manager of the division this past year. In this role, Steven was in charge of supervising all purchasing and administrative functions, maintaining relationships with vendors and UD’s School of Business faculty, as well as dealing with all aspects of customer service. This year, Steven had the opportunity to transition into an entirely new area of business, and currently serves as FE’s Chief Information Officer. As CIO, he manages the IT staff, oversees all systems and services provided by IT, and actively looks to sustain and improve the operational efficiency of FE and all of its divisions through the use of information technology.

President of Corporate Development: Megan Arko Major: Finance & International Business Senior: May 2012 Cleveland, Ohio
Megan joined the Flyer Enterprises team in September 2008 of her freshman year at ArtStreet Cafe. While she worked at ArtStreet Cafe, Megan was a member of the marketing team and human resources team, helped improve operational flow through assisting with “lean” implementation, and also worked for FE Catering. As President of Corporate Development, Megan facilitates cross-divisional collaboration, oversees company-wide human resources and marketing strategies, and is responsible for developing the future leaders of Flyer Enterprises through professional development and learning opportunities. She also leads a team of 7 directors of marketing/merchandise, a team of 7 directors of human resources, and the corporate Director of Marketing Communications.

President of Coffee Divisions: Nikki Swidarski Majors: International Business & Spanish Senior: May 2012 Hudson, OH
Nikki first joined the Flyer Enterprises team at The Galley in February 2009. As a sophomore, she moved to the Coffee divisions where she served as the Director of Human Resources. As HR, Nikki was responsible for interviewing and hiring new employees, employee relations, and maintaining a high morale at both divisions. This year, she is President of Coffee and oversees a team of 6 managers and nearly 30 sales associates between both divisions. She is also responsible for all daily operations, marketing, financials, and future planning for The Blend and Blend Express.

President of Business Development: Jeff Haberman Major: Marketing Junior: May 2013 North Canton, Ohio
Jeff joined the Flyer Enterprises team during the second semester of his freshman year as a sales associate at The Galley. During his time as a sales associate he served as the Community Outreach Coordinator for The Galley and participated in the marketing focus group. As a sophomore, he served as the general manager of The Galley and oversaw the daily operations at the division, including all administrative functions, repair, and maintenance of equipment. As President of Business Development, Jeff is responsible for the direction, supervision, and marketing aspects of newly founded FE Storage venture. He is also responsible for working with new venture coordinators in pursuit of new venture opportunities to continue the growth of Flyer Enterprises.

President of Dining Services Joint Ventures: Jimmy Hankenhof Masters of Business Administration May 2012 Toledo, Ohio
Jimmy joined Flyer Enterprises in September 2007, during the first semester of his freshman year. He began working at The Chill as a sales associate until his sophomore year, when he became the assistant marketing director. As a junior, Jimmy was the general manager of The Chill, where he governed daily operations, ordering, and human resource functions. This year, as President of Dining Services Joint Ventures, Jimmy oversees all operations, marketing, and human resources for The Chill, The Galley and Stuart’s Landing. He collaborates with the nine managers and 75 employees across the three divisions, while interacting with the University of Dayton’s Dining Services to develop the long-term strategy of the joint ventures.

President – ArtStreet Cafe and FE Catering: Sean Holdmeyer Major: Operations Management & Finance Junior: May 2013 North Royalton, Ohio
Sean joined the Flyer Enterprises team as a sales associate at ArtStreet Cafe’ in January 2010. In March 2010 he joined FE Catering and became a Shift Leader at ASC. In Fall 2010, he was the New Venture Coordinator for FE Storage, was promoted to Assistant General Manager of the Cafe and served as the Social Activities Coordinator of Art Street Café. This year, Sean is the president of ArtStreet Cafe’ and FE Catering. Sean supervises the management teams of the divisions, maintains the relationship between the cafe’ and the ArtStreet Living Learning Community Complex, and oversees all functions of the business including daily operations, marketing, brand development and entertainment events.

President of Retail: Kerri Roper Major: Accounting & Finance Senior: May 2012 Dayton, Ohio
Kerri joined Flyer Enterprises in September 2008 as a sales associate at The CHILL. The following year, she became the human resources assistant, and was then promoted to General Manager in March 2010. As GM, Kerri was in charge of The CHILL’s daily operations, including machine maintenance, purchasing and human resources. Currently, Kerri acts as the president of retail and directs her focus on Flyer Spirit.
